What Your Wedding Photographer Needs to Know
You’re busy sorting all of the wedding admin and the last thing you need to worry about is the photos, so we’ve drawn up a few tips for you to tell us what you need asap:
Length of Shoot
How long do you need us? You may be having a super casual ceremony and only need us for a half day or would like us to take pics from early morning until the venue is kicking you out! Whatever you want, it’s up to you - just let us know when you’re booking!
Now Pose
We know not everyone wants the same kind of photo. Some of you may want us to use our ninja-esque skills to get the more natural shots where you barely know we’re there, others may love a good pose and a few traditional group shots. Either’s fine; just let us know before the big day.
P.S. if you’re feeling a little unconventional, give us the nod and we’ll come up with some silly shots to do too.
Contact Deets
Again, this may seem obvious but it’s best to have all of your contact details when in the booking stages, so we can contact you and you can get in touch with us if anything changes.
What’s the Schedule?
If you let us know the order of the day then we can both make sure that we don’t miss a thing, which I would think is what you’re paying for, right?
If you let us know timings, we can make sure we’re at location before you arrive to get that once in a lifetime shot.
Any Special Requirements?
There may be guests who have aversions to flashing lights/noises or would prefer not to be in any photos for various reasons. Give us the heads up and we’ll make sure everyone is happy 😊
Surprises?
If you have any surprises on the day, such as fireworks, a special dance or flash mob booked (who knows!) tell us and we’ll factor this in, so we can capture the best reactions of your guests in our shots!
