Maya & Tom got in touch with us as they needed just a few hours coverage for their intimate wedding at Durham Registry Office, and with it being Autumn, it made for a stunning backdrop for their photos too!

Maya and Tom have three cats at home - so if you were wondering we’d spelled perfect wrong…mystery solved!

Wedding Prep

We were with Maya and Tom on our half day package for 6 hours, so we had some time before the wedding to pop by their home for some pre-wedding shots!

The Ceremony

Durham’s Registry Office is a lovely bright yellow building just outside the city centre, and it is a great place for anyone looking to get married.

Maya & Tom’s wedding ceremony was full of laughs, tears and beautiful moments.

Now that the wedding bit is out of the way, it was time to use Durham Registry Office’s beautiful exterior for some quick group shots.

Highlight of the moment - definitely Tom’s mam’s shoe getting stuck in the grass!

Park Life

With the group shots done, we borrowed Tom and Maya for a few minutes for some more posey photos with just them in it.

With the lovely Wharton Park just over the road from the venue, it proved the perfect backdrop for some photos with Durham Cathedral visible, and the sun decided to set at just the right moment!

A Paws-Itively Awesome Party

That’s the posey bit done - now we whisked Maya and Tom back to their house where they were having an evening party with their nearest and dearest (including, of course, their three cats!).
