One of the most stunning venues available here in the north east is none other than Runa Farm.
Recently renovated as part of the Apartment Group’s selection of wedding venues, this amazing venue has a stunning, rustic ceremony chapel, beautiful function area, outdoor spaces and so much more to offer.
Katie & Carl’s wedding day had a bit of a torrential downpour (good luck, apparently!), but that didn’t stop them, and us, from having an amazing day capturing some beautiful memories for them to look back on.
Bridal Prep
With Katie and her bridesmaids/family getting ready at Runa Farm, it was Crystal’s job to stay with them for their morning prep wedding photos.
Dan, meanwhile…well, more on that later!
Katie and Carl booked us for the full day to ensure we didn’t miss a thing.
Groom Prep
Originally from Yorkshire, Carl got ready alongside his groomsmen down in Ripon, in his grandma’s farm/bungalow.
Dan traveled down to spend the morning with the boys before returning to Runa Farm for the ceremony. As is tradition - the lads took barely any time to get ready, so there was even time for a game of football in their suits!
That’s the beauty of there being two of us when you book with B&C - we can split apart and make sure nothing gets missed at all!
The First Look of Dad/Mam + Daughter and the Nervous Wait
One of our favourite shots to capture is when a dad or mam sees his/her daughter in her beautiful bridal outfit for the first time - there’s just nothing like the emotion on show there!
Meanwhile, while all of this is going on, the groom is waiting nervously in Runa Farm’s ceremony area; pacing up and down, waiting for the clock to tick down for the big event.
It’ll be here before he knows it!
