Venue: South Shields Town Hall (Ceremony) + Bun Bun Restaurant (Reception)

This wedding wasn’t only a special day for the Bride and Groom but also for King Charles III too, as it was on his Coronation Day!

This was a beautiful, intimate wedding with close family and friends at South Shields Town Hall, along with a little detour for some snaps at South Shields beach and then off the Bun Bun Restaurant for some grub!

One of the best things about doing a full day wedding is how much we get to know the amazing people we take photos for.

In the case of Miranda & David, we were basically adopted as part of the wedding party by the time morning prep was done!

We had a great laugh with everyone at the wedding, helping out wherever needed and - of course - snapping away those photos they didn’t even know they wanted.

At Booth & Curtis Photography, there’s two of us, so one of us will be up front getting that ‘first look’ shot and the other will be at the back, waiting to get the bride as soon as she walks down the aisle - we don’t miss a thing!

We also sneak about, out of sight to make sure we don’t miss any of these moments. Like when Lauren was trying to force James’ wedding ring onto his finger!

They Did It- Congrats!

And with that, the new Mr & Mrs had finally tied the knot!

We love this photo, as it shows the pure joy on the faces of the newly-weds, after that big moment!

After a quick stroll back up the aisle, it was time to sign the register to make it official!

There’s a story about the pen that’s just out of shot in the below photo. No one supplied them with a prop pen, however Booth came to the rescue and luckily had one tucked away in one of her many dungaree pockets! So there you go, all on hand for a bit of stationery when needed and wedding photography too!

The Emerald Brick Wall & The Beach

Lauren and James were after a few group shots and posed photos inside the beautiful South Shields town hall and down the beach and we were more than happy to oblige.

They even involved their beautiful dog Pip, who met us at the beach for some photos :)

Since we’re mad about pooches at B&C, combining together our dog photography and a wedding together as one is always the dream!
