Can I Afford a Wedding Photographer?

Venue: Spanish City, Whitley Bay

So you’re about to get married, eh?

If you’ve never done this before, chances are you’ve just realised one thing….they ain’t cheap, are they?

That might be making you wonder such things as what you can afford/need on your wedding day.

One of the questions you might be asking yourself is: Can I Afford a Wedding Photographer?

To which our response would be…can you afford NOT to have a wedding photographer?

Investing In Your Wedding Photography Might Be the Best Decision You Make

Sheepfolds, Sunderland

Venue: Sheepfolds Stables, Sunderland

There’s lots of things go into a wedding. But most of them are things you’ll only remember in your memories.

That beautiful, multi-tiered cake with the chocolate base, salted caramel centre and beautiful topper? All that’s left are crumbs.

Those party favours you agonised over on Etsy for days to make sure they were just right? Everybody loved them on the day, but now they’re just a memory.

In comparison, hiring a wedding photographer to capture all of the big moments of your day means you’ve got photos forever to remember everything that happened.

Of course being North East wedding photographers ourselves, we’re a teensy-weensy bit biased. We’re being completely honest with you here though; our clients love what we do because we make memories that last a lifetime.

But Can I Afford My Wedding Photography Though?

We can’t speak for your personal circumstances, but there’s a wedding photographer out there for everyone.

Prices between wedding photographers here in the North East vary greatly; you can expect to pay anything from a few hundred pounds to several thousand, depending on who you go with.

Here at Booth & Curtis Photography, we don’t believe in draining your bank account for your wedding photography. We aren’t exactly in the lowest price bracket available, but we include two photographers with all of our packages, and we like to think we’ve got a bit of something for everyone!

Our prices start at just £800 for a half day of wedding photography coverage, and if you want to upgrade to a full day, it’ll cost you £1250. We understand that’s a whole lot of money but you’ll get two wedding photographers on the day, so we can capture all those precious moments and you can pay in installments. All we ask is for a deposit to secure your date and then we can arrange a payment plan if needed.
