Feeling the Love at the South Causey Inn
Couple: Simon & Mark
Venue: The South Causey Inn, Stanley
“Crystal & Dan were amazing from start to finish, neither myself or Mark like getting our photo taken but we felt completely comfortable from the very off. I’d highly recommend an engagement shoot if you’re not comfortable in front of the camera as well as this made us feel much better about the day and gave us some nice photos as well.
Communication was great throughout, very prompt to any meetings and on the big day and managed to get some amazing photos which we’ll cherish forever. Look no further for your big day.”
With Crystal being from just down the road from the South Causey in Stanley, we absolutely love shooting weddings here!
It’s a stunning venue with so much to offer for those getting married, and in the case of Simon & Mark, they decided to get married in the Causey’s Farmhouse.
Not huge fans of getting their photos done, Mark & Simon had us along for a half day of coverage from just before the ceremony to past their first dance.
Unconventionally, Simon & Mark not only saw each other before the ceremony, they were actively mingling and welcoming their guests too!
Every wedding is different, and it was a lovely way for them to unwind and take some of the stress out of their wedding day.
Before the Big Event
The Ceremony
Simon & Mark’s wedding ceremony was unconventional too - they walked in together, hand-in-hand, with loads of their nearest and dearest looking on.
They had a beautiful ceremony, serenaded by a live singer too.
After a few false starts (where at least three people came awkwardly out of the front door at the South Causey Farmhouse to be greeted by a tunnel full of confetti holders), Simon & Mark did their first walk as newlyweds and were promptly covered in confetti by everyone.
After that it was time for a bit of alone time (well, apart from us taking photos) where we captured a few intimate moments of Simon & Mark alone.

That was just a quick blitz through all of the things that happen on a wedding day - so here’s the best of the rest of the photos!
